Great Race Trivia Question

The previous question was, Great Race has, over the years, visited 44 states. Besides Alaska and Hawaii, what 4 states has Great Race not yet visited? The six states we have not visited are Alaska, Hawaii, North Dakota, Maine, Vermont, and Rhode Island. Among the numerous wrong answers we received were New Hampshire, through which Great Race traveled on the 2000 Trophy Run before the start in Boston, and Delaware, where we had overnight stops in 1993 (Newark, home of MBNA America Bank) and 1995 (Wilmington). The winner was Desda Monaghan (wife of Bill Monaghan, Car # 61), who was first with the correct answer. We sent our congratulations and a Great Race T-shirt to Desda. This month's question is a follow-up: Of the 44 states we have visited, we have had promoted stops in 42. Besides New Hampshire (see above), what state have we traveled through without a promoted stop (promoted stops include the Start; Finish; Overnight, Lunch, and Pit Stops)?Rules: E-mail your answers to classen@greatrace.com with a subject line of "Trivia answer". One answer per person. Rachel and Wayne are not eligible.Prize: The first person with the correct answer wins a 2005 Great Race T-shirt
