Rainfall could help locusts reproduction

SHABWA – The Director of the Plant Protection Bureau in Shabwa has said that rainfall could help in the reproduction of locusts. Ahmed Saleh spoke of small pockets of locusts in various regions of the province and warned of a locust invasion. Saleh said that the agriculture office in Shabwa is providing the Sana’a-based Center for Fighting Desert Locusts with the latest information on the potential threat.
